Gastronomy Festival 2024: 1st Guavaberry producer in Saint-Martin, it's time to book your orders with Golden Grove.

Golden Grove,

a family story

Golden Grove is a 120 year old multicultural, permaculture and natural ranching family farm located in the heart of our beautiful island of St. Maarten. The Colombier valley is in the mountainous center of the island and is not known to many visitors. The narrow road that leads to the valley opens onto green pastures, and one wonders if one is still in Saint-Martin. The area is tropical and lush, as Pic Paradis diverts more rain and moisture to this valley than to any other location on the island. The valley and the local flora are different from the rest of our Friendly Island.

Our history

A historic site

The land was once home to a sugar factory, dating from around 1770. However, cane cultivation ceased shortly after the abolition of slavery. In the mid-1900s, the farm was dedicated to raising cattle.

The takeover of Golden Grove

For several generations, the Richardson family has been able to acquire the land that belonged to settler families, a part acquired by marriage, another was bought.

Since 2011

The restoration of the farm began in 2011, when we made the choice to create a unique Eden on Saint-Martin. Today, we are very happy and proud of our heritage.

Our partner

The choice to have a partnership with Guadeloupe is simple: favor local products, proximity and French territories.

Based near Saint François in Guadeloupe, this organic farm allows us to satisfy our customers by diversifying our production thanks to a greater choice of products and to overcome variations in our own Saint-Martinoise productions.
